Founding Artistic Director of "The North Country Ballet Ensemble" for 26 years.                           Under her guidance "The Nutcracker Ballet" became an annual event.  
Ms. Guibord is a former member of Stephen's Dance Company and Mark Ryder's Dancers. 
She opened Guibord's in September 1973 and continues to direct and teach dancers of all ages at the school.  Under her direction, Guibord's is dedicated to providing a positive environment for dancers of all ages, keeping in mind that each student is a unique and special individual.

Ms. Bonnie Black

Ms. Bonnie Black attained her BA in English with a minor in Theatre from PSUNY followed by an MA in Liberal Studies from PSUNY.  As a dance teacher at Guibord's School of Dance since 1979, Bonnie has enjoyed working with dancers ages 4 through adult in ballet and tap dance.  In addition to being an Assistant Artistic Director and Rehearsal Mistress for the North Country Ballet Ensemble, her expertise in the technical aspects of theatrical production has been as asset to the organization.  Part of the artistic community of the North Country for almost three decades, Ms. Bonnie is a founding member and Business Manager of the community theatre group Friends of Theatre, Inc and a Past President (twice over) for the Council on the Arts for Clinton County.  Teaching Humanities and Theatre courses at Clinton Community College since 1992, Bonnie enjoys guiding students to the many resources for the arts in our community.

Danielle Girard

Most recently was a member of "Bryce Dance Company" in Burlington, VT. Danielle's goal is to establish her own modern dance company in Plattsburgh, NY.  "Stay tuned for audition and performance dates!!" Danielle started dancing when she was three years old.  Born in Plattsburgh, New York, her mother owned and operated a dance studio where she learned technique in ballet, modern, jazz, and Latin dance.  In high school she started training under instructor Philip Cole in Montreal (focusing on his Graham and African influenced jazz technique) and at Guibord's North School of Ballet (focusing on Cecchetti technique).  Danielle went on to study Music Theater Dance at the University at Buffalo with a concentration in Dance Education and Choreography for three years - which included a residency under choreographer Bill T. Jones.  She tranfered to Fordham University in New York City - where she studied at Alvin ailey Studios and took part in a work-study program at Steps on Broadway.  She has studied a variety of dance techniques including Graham, Horton, African, Latin, Tap, Jazz, Hip-Hop, and Ballet.  Through out her dance career, Danielle has choreographed for high school, college, and community musical productions and dance shows.  Her work Jingo, was featured at the University at Buffalo's Student Dance Choregraphers' Showcase in 2004.      After graduating from Fordham in 2007 with a degree in english Literature, 

Danielle moved to Boston where she studied a the Dance complex in Cambridge, as well as taught and choreographed professinally for various community programs and musical productions around the Boston area.  She choreographed Arts After Hours' productions of the The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee in June of 2011, and I love you Your're Perfect, Now Change in 2012.  She also spent the summer of 2011 teaching dance and choregraphing for a youth production program at Roxbury community College titled Raise Your Flag.  

Danielle moved back to Plattsburgh in 2012 to be near family.

She has been teaching classes and workshops at various locations: the North Country Cultural Center for the Arts, The ROTA Gallery, Lifelong Fitness Center, Center Stage Dance School, and Paul Smith's.  

Marne Timon

Marne is a graduate of Guibord's and the Lake Placid School of Ballet.    She holds her Advance 1/Grade 9 certificate from Cecchetti USA and is working on her Associates level Teachers exam and her Advance 2/Grade 10 professional exam.   She returned to teach at Guibord's after a year at Stephens College as a dance major and then a year in the pre-professional Certificate Program for Ballet/Contemporary/Modern at Peridance, Capezio Center in NYC.  She trained with Igal Perry, founder of Peridance, Liza Kovacs, Sidra Bell, Janna Hicks, Milton Meyers and others.        She has performed in a variety of pieces, including an original work by Sidra Bell and            Igal Perry's  "Nutcracker Ballet. 
She performed for five years in NCBE's Nutcracker. 
She is thrilled to instruct at Guibord's!

Korinne Stay

Korinne lives in the upper west side of New York City with two other dancers. 
Her goal is to perform in a professional modern dance company. 
She attended the Alvin Ailey Independent Professional Study Program having auditioned            and been accepted March of 2013. 
Tracy Inman, co-director of the Ailey School auditioned her.  

While in the program she took: Daily Ballet Class  Graham technique 
Horton Technique   Paul Taylor Technique and Rep with Carolyn Adams.
She holds her Advance 1/Grade 9 certificate from Cecchetti USA and is working on her Advance 2/Grade 10 professional exam. She continues her education on how to instruct ballet students, under the guidance of  D. Guibord-Stay.  She currently continues her dance training at "Steps on Braodway"  "Aileys" and "Peridance".  She takes yoga on a regular basis as well.

Has completed the course work to become a Certified Professional  Welder


Shares Studio space with 2 other artists in Buffalo  She has had two paintings hung in the NY Governors office; Washington DC and one sculpture piece shown at the Univ. of Albany.  As well as two paintings which were chosen to hang in the Deans office at Buffalo State.  May to July, 2014 Kelsey traveled to Lativa working at the International Sculpture Event held in that country every spring.


Kelsey grew up performing in NCBE's "The Nutcracker Ballet".  

She danced the roles of:  Claire  Spanish  North Winds in the Snow scene  

Candy Canes  Russian  Waltz of the Flowers"  

She & Korinne choreographed the battle of
K. Mouse & The Nutcracker; she performing as the Nutrcacker and Korinne as K. Mouse.  She also choreographed a version of Candy Canes.              
She studied dance year round at Guibord's as well as in Lake Placid
